We will again be offering SchoolKidz classroom supply boxes. Ordering information sheets were sent home with each student.  Order online at www.shopttkits.com   Use account number 18202.  All orders must be placed online by Friday, May 25.

The final tuition payment was due May 15.  The school office will close June 5.  Statements of your tuition account were emailed to you on Wednesday.  We would appreciate your help in “closing” all tuition accounts by that date.

ALL library books were to be returned by Wednesday, May 16.  Notices regarding cost of books not returned were sent home Thursday, May 17.  Please pay these charges by Wednesday, May 24.

St. Mary Arts Night, featuring The ‘da Vinci’ Student Drama Club and piano students of Mrs. Riggle, will be Tuesday, May 22, at 7 p.m. in the school Activity Center.

Eighth Grade graduation will be held during the 9:30 Mass on Wednesday, May 23.  All are invited to attend.  

Current Extended Day/Latchkey amounts due (charges through May 11) were emailed to families on Wednesday.  Please pay all extended day charges in full on your child’s last day in extended day in order to avoid additional billing fees.  Check with Mrs. Meier or the school office for your balance due.  Any credit amounts remaining on your family’s extended day account at the end of the year will be available next year.

Change to the menu:  Thursday, May 24, will be "Cook's Choice".  We will notify you as to what will be served that day.

Friday, May 25, is Field Day!  Rain or Shine!  Students should dress appropriately - tennis shoes are a must!  SSO will be providing lunch (hot dogs).  A hat might be a good idea.  If you feel your child needs sunscreen, please send it along.  If for any reason your child should not participate at Field Day, send us a written note.

The students are no longer permitted to carry a negative balance in the cafeteria.  Please be sure there are adequate funds available on your student’s lunch account to cover the cost of lunch and any extras for the entire month of May.  Any funds remaining on your student’s account at the end of the year will be available next year.  

We have St. Mary Spirit Yard Signs available for all families.  If you have not already done so, please stop in the office and pick up your sign.

At the SSO meeting last week, parents were in support of St. Mary School contracting with FACTS for tuition management.  In using this program families will set up an account for paying their tuition and student fees.  This will enable families to pay using a credit card, direct withdrawal, etc.  More information will be sent home soon.  Accounts will need to be established in time to make the first tuition payment, July 15.

The window to apply for tuition assistance through the Diocese FACTS program/Guardian Angel will be closing June 1. In order to be considered for tuition assistance for the 2018/19 school year, you must complete this process.   Information on how to apply and the FACTS link can be found on our school website:   (www.stmary-wooster.cld.pvt.K12.oh.us) in the dropdown menu under “ABOUT”.    Again, if you have any questions please call the school office (330-262-8671).

Students who have medication in the school office will have it sent home with them on the last day.  Again this year, as in the past, the Religion workbook is the only workbook that will be sent home with the students.  All others are the property of Wooster City Schools.
