Mrs. H is retiring at the end of this school year after 20 years cooking for the students at St. Mary School. We would like to make her a Memory Book of favorite moments, or notes from present and past students. Please submit your “Special Remembrances” to the school office, church office, or you can drop it in the collection basket at Mass. You can also send it via email to Laura Marvin at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would like your special memories no later than Sunday, May 20. Thank you for your help with this very special project.

As we informed all last week, today, Friday, April 27, the fourth and fifth grade students attended the first session in Conflict Resolution presented by PSI. The students will be attending these classes for the next two Fridays. Parents are welcome to attend.
Deacon Marty Dober (he had served at St. Mary Parish while a seminarian) will be celebrating Mass here at St. Mary Church at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 29. All are welcome to attend; coffee and sweets will be served following Mass. While there check out the art projects the students made from recycled items.
Wednesday, May 2, the brunch (formerly known as the senior brunch!) that follows morning Mass will be held in the school’s Activity Center.
The last day for students to check out books from the school library will be Thursday, May 3. ALL library books must be returned by Wednesday, May 16.
Friday, May 4, will be the last day for students to carry a negative balance in the cafeteria. Please be sure there are adequate funds available on your student’s lunch account to cover the cost of lunch and any extras for the entire month of May. The May menu is attached.
The school’s Spring Music Program will be Thursday, May 10, at 2:00 p.m. Please note the change of time. Mrs. Selvaggio will be providing more details.
The window to apply for tuition assistance through the Diocese FACTS program/Guardian Angel will be closing soon. In order to be considered for tuition assistance for the 2018/19 school year, you must complete this process. Information on how to apply and the FACTS link can be found on our school website: (www.stmary-wooster.cld.pvt.K12.oh.us) in the dropdown menu under “ABOUT”. Once you have submitted your FACTS application you will need to print a copy of your application and submit it and all required documentation to the school for consideration within the St. Mary Guardian Angel Fund.
