Beginning January 1, 2013, all St. Mary parent volunteers need to meet the requirements of this policy. If you have any questions regarding Virtus and its requirements, please feel free to call the Religious Education Office (330)264-5838.

You do NOT have to have completed Virtus to do Cafeteria Duty.

Dear Parents,

To quote the words of St. Paul, "We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you is increasing" (2 Thessalonians 1:3).

As we celebrate a national Day of Thanks, I take this opportunity, on behalf of Mr. Carestia and the whole staff of St. Mary School, to express our gratitude for your ongoing investment in the education of your child.

As we take some time away from classes, I trust that the homework sent home for your child over Thanksgiving will be little-to-none. However, I am asking a little "home work" of you.

We are currently working to step up our efforts to draw additional students to St. Mary School. While I believe that this is a very important -- and overdue -- venture, yet I also believe it would be a missed opportunity not to undertake a "check-in" with our current families, since your presence issues a responsibility on our part, as leaders, to do everything we can to maintain your confidence.

And so, at the bottom of this message is a link that will take you to a very short survey. We would be most grateful if you will complete this survey. It ought to take less than five minutes to complete, yet it will serve as an invaluable resource to us, as we move forward in our planning and future promotion of the school!

Peace and All Good to you and your family,
Fr. Stephen
Congratulations go out to Micah, the Second Grade Student of the Week! Definitely the pride of Mrs. Westover's classroom, no doubt! What a classy and great second grader! As 8th grader Thomas would say, awwwww.... way!
St. Mary School would like to share with you some positive news about many of our alumni students attending Wooster High School. During this past first quarter, sixty-four St. Mary alumni students attained honor/merit roll status. It is very satisfying to see so many of our former students continuing on their path of academic growth. Hopefully they will continue along this pathway.
Good news, everyone! We've recently just registered (not to be confused with our home parish, which is't worry, it's just a shorter shortcut to the URL of the original web address, so be sure to update your old bookmarks. Pass the word around!
