Congratulations go out to Trei, the Second Grade Student of the Week! Definitely the pride of Mrs. Westover's classroom, no doubt! Phenomenally amazing performance! Way to go! As 8th grader Alyssa would say, raw! (which in her nomeclature means, "cool").
For the December fundraiser, Student Council will be having a bake sale on the 16th, 17th, and 18th during the lunch hours. We will have two tables, one containing smaller items for $0.50 and another containing larger items for $1.00. We will also be selling candy canes for $0.50 each. Donations for food are greatly appreciated but not required. Proceeds will be going to the Make-A-Wish foundation to help people with cancer. Please have your kids drop off the baked goods in the 8th grade classroom. Thank you.
It is with pleasure and pride that we share with our parish community news regarding Wooster High School's Honor Roll. During this past marking period sixty former St. Mary School students made the honor roll. Seeing our students continue to grow in "Character, Faith and Knowledge" is very rewarding. Congratulations to our former students.
The month of December is the month of Respect! The Rachel's Challenge group leaders came up with the all-school activity of making a short video to the tune of Aretha Franklin's classic, "Respect". Be sure to treat people with kindness and respect every day, and not just this month! Moreover, let's continue to create a record breaking Rachel's Challenge Kindness Chain by the end of the year!
